"Homegrown terrorists new threat?"

I have news for you, news television:

THE NUMBER ONE TERRORISM THREAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN "HOMEGROWN".

Everything from PETA to religious fundamentalists (of any religion).

Please. PLEASE shut up.

School uniforms

School uniforms DON'T hinder individuality. Let me think here...

School uniforms can

reduce the stress that social/financial class creates;
reduce the money spent by parents on clothing;
reduce the amount of violence provoked by gang clothing;

And that's only three things. I'm sure if I researched it, I could find many pros.

But what about INDIVIDUALISM and a SENSE OF SELF?

If you think the clothing you wear represents your ideas, YOU'RE FUCKING WRONG. Wearing clothes that represent your ideas is a cheap way to cope out of actually EXPRESSING YOURSELF, via words, art, writing, whatever the fuck.

Bullshit STINKS.

Whoops

I don't know how, but I am now the Ice Queen. Perhaps what I said was cold, but I couldn't take another "how great I'll be in the future" speech from him.

Perhaps what hurt him most was that his last "fan" had finally lost faith in him.

Considering all the grief he's brought me, though... I don't feel so bad.

lmao

This guy came onto my aeronautics blog no more than 10 minutes after I had made it.

"I have been waiting for a blog on aeronautics. How did you know?

Please do not disappoint. I'm quite excited.

Hmm, you are not very good at Maths or Science, so I had better lower my expectations.

Nah, bollocks to it. It is going to be a disappointmet."

(It says in my "About Me" section that I never had a talent for math and science.)

I smiled. His blog about anti-blogging is quite funny, but I think he's harmless.

I love Samus SO MUCH, I'd make her my new icon. A lot of feminists use her as their sign, but admittedly, Samus isn't... feminist. She's merely a capable (HUGE), awesome, pew pew!style bounty hunter.

I wish there was more fanfiction that didn't scare me. It's a small community to begin with, and Samus isn't really characterized except by a small comic. And that comic is sort of... adventurous, with their characterization of Samus. Greedy, conniving, and proud of it--which matches the description of a bounty hunter quite well, except she's also described as "contracted with [the police force], because she has a strong sense of justice."

While it may be possible to be both greedy, conniving, prideful, and have a strong sense of justice, uh. The two major pieces there don't usually jive together often.

Although, that sounds like an awesome character to try and write.

HEHE ^_______^

To be a writer...

To be a writer, all anyone has to do is write. I know, crazy! ANYONE can be a writer, but it's probably the least descriptive word you can use. Do you write poetry, prose, essays, novels, books, short stories?

That's why I never use the term "writer." I just like writing, dammit.
samus2

lolno

I'm in no way smarter than I used to be. More experienced, maybe, but definitely not smarter. It's become extremely obvious to me in the way I communicate, or even just make spelling mistakes that I had NEVER made before in my life (there/their/they're, your/you're). I can't argue as fiercely, I can't write as well, I can't even fake a smile in a grueling social situation anymore. Believe me, I've been straining to get that same level of intelligence back, especially since school looks like my most probable path. (Did I even spell that right? SEE WHAT I MEAN?)

Anyway, cousin, I'm just trying to say that the reason I seem smarter now than then is because I'm more vocal, even if it's obnoxious.

Also, reading =/= intelligent. :) When you see me reading, it probably means I'm bored or that my eyes hurt from staring at pixels.

I don't give a flying fuck anymore

Cut for my natural need to cuss and complain. )

Besides, my last name is way too fucking cool.

Dawkins is awesome.

I thought Richard Dawkins might have been an asshole, hearing some lines from his famous book ("The God Delusion") being quoted all the time in a negative light, but actually... he's quite awesome. I like how he broke down the belief transitioning to non-belief system:

Theism, Deism, Pantheism, and Atheism! It's almost like a caste system, which scares me. For many, many cases, most people don't leave which part of the caste they were born into. TELL me that's not frightening...

Theism is the belief that God (or gods) created the universe and monitor/control every aspect of all life, big or small.

Deism is the belief that God created a set of laws that all life and creation then emerged from, but has no direct interference with individual life forms, excluding prayer, mind reading, etc.

Pantheism is the poetic reference to God as the workings of nature.

Atheism does not recognize God metaphorically or otherwise, in anything.

And I thought that shit was awesome.

Ears. Cut them, I should.

So on very rare occasion, I do like to talk to people, but I always... get put on hold.

:(
